Does anybody have any clue as to why Making The Band 2 was released on dvd, but the original (and far superior) Making The Band wasn't??? That's just wrong. I miss Making The Band, that was an awesome show. I remember counting down the days each week til Friday for it to come on. :P

hey theres an o-town fan fiction called breathless and ive been trying to find it on the net for over an hour because i love it so much and wanted to read it again before i do this project for school. anyways. if anyone knows where i could find it i'd love u forever. ! its basically jacobs on his highschool football team and this girls like the water girl whose his friend. and he gets tackled pretty bad and because he's had a lack of sleep and so on. he cant get his breath and the doctors were taking way to long so she helps him get it back by giving him a rhythem to breathe by. and on the bus ride home from the game he hits on her. and scene. thats about it. basically. i think the last line was something like im just trying to leave you breathless. something witty to go along with the title the wording might not be exact but w/e anyways. if anyone knows where i could find it you'd rock my socks off. thanks sooo much.!

of you. :)
Anyway, I'm Delaine, I'm 15 and

Jacob is back in the spotlight once again. He's got his own band and own style. No more of that pop sound for Jacob. The group is called Jacob's Loc. They have an EP out. They're going to be at Roxy in Hollywood, CA on the 29th. The tickets are $12. They also have an official website, you can visit the website at When you get there, make sure that you click skip intro because it won't go to the main part of the website if you don't.

Hey all, I know nobody has posted in this forever.. I just found it myself.

I was just wondering, on the off chance that somebody might read this, if anybody knew where I could get a copy of American Game and/or any other unreleased/live tracks on cd, because I can't download anything. I really miss having new O-Town music to listen to, ever since the guy's broke up, so I figured that this was as close to new as I was gonna get. lol. :) Plus, American Game is my FAVORITE song, and I've never gotten a copy of it, except for what they played on Making the Band one time.

So, can anyone help me??? Please??? *gets down on hands and knees and begs* Thanks!!!!!! :)

(November 5, 2003) Based on the rumors that were circulating and the many questions posed by fans following Ashley's announcement of his solo debut album, Inside O-Town asked Ashley to get a statement from all 5 guys to give to the fans about the future of O-Town and what each of them are doing now. This is the statement that Ash gave us after consulting with all of the guys - please note that all O-Town sites are welcome to reprint this statement provided that credit is given to Be sure to stay tuned to Inside O-Town for continued updates on the guys.

Dear O-TOWN Fans,

We realize there have been several different rumors circulating about the group and we would like to tell you ourselves exactly where we stand. O-TOWN will always be the greatest blessing any one of us could have ever wished for ... unfortunately, however, we had to sign several contracts that were not in our best interests. We wanted you to know that our decision not to continue forward as O-TOWN was mutual and we all still remain best friends ... that will never change. Here is an update on each one of us:

Jacob has finished building his home in San Diego where he recently served as an honorary fire fighter to protect his neighborhood from the California fires. Thankfully, he and his family are safe. He continues his study of the Bible to regain focus and direction and he is learning more everyday.

Dan is living in Orlando where he has been writing and producing a lot of material out of his home studio. He will keep you posted on his plans for upcoming projects.

Trevor lives in Southern California where he continues to study acting, professionally. He is currently auditioning for both film and television and can be found on local golf courses everywhere.

Ashley resides in Los Angeles where he is currently writing and recording material for a solo album. Shortly, he will be launching his own website where you can find out much more information about this and ask him any questions you might have.

As always Erik-Michael is all over the country on any given day. He has constantly been surrounding himself in a work environment. He continues to write incredible songs and has been approached by different companies regarding a solo project. Erik has also been given the opportunity to explore his acting talents and has become quite ambitious about that! He has mentioned the possibility of his own website so keep tuned to Inside O-Town for that link.

We hope this update has answered some of your questions concerning the group. As you know, we truly appreciate all the support of our fans. Talk to you soon!

Love, O-TOWN

Subject:O-Town In Trouble?
Posted by:kimdmarks.
Time:8:47 am.
Mood: depressed.
Okay, I gave my review of OFC in the infamous "Who's going to OFC"
thread but Suzie asked me to start a new thread to tell you all
about what Mike had said at OFC last night. Well Everyone had heard
the rumors of Otown were breaking up and Otowns done after this tour.

After his funny stories things started to get very serious. He
first started to talk about how all the cd burning brought all cd
sales down 60% and because the record companies are taking such a
hard hit, J records is talking about joining forces with Arista (i
think) and that puts otown in some turmoil. Because if your cd isnt
selling 10,000 copies a week they drop you. So that puts Otown and
alot of other artists in that category. Like just recently Will Smith
was dropped of his record label with Sony. The conversation went on
and you could just feel the seriousness in the room and I finally
raised my hand and said "What can Us as Otown fans do...because we
don't want to lose our guys" and you can hear a few people agree and
he took a deep breath and said "You know when I toured with BSB...I
would never go in one of their prayer circles..because I found it
hypocritical." He started to get emotional and soon my tears were
flowing. He said "But with Otown...its real they genuinely care about
everyone." So by now the whole room was crying.

And he said that he talked to one of the big guys yesterday with the
guys and he basically said that he is going to try whatever he cans
to make sure that Otown sticks around and all we as Otown fans can do
is pray, buy their albums, and request on the persisitant
let the world know that we havent forgotton Otown. Which I am sure
all of us as Otown fans will be able to do right?

Our boys are caught in some turmoil and if they are stuck lets do
what we can to get them out.]

But maybe us fans can help! Here are some ways how we can help! We
can't give up on Otown..we just CAN'T!!!!!!

-> Ways To Support O-Town

If you can do some of these, especially #2, that would be great,

(1) Sign the petition going to J Records/Clive Davis -> It has over
1600 signatures!!!

**(2)** Send a letter of support out to J Records. Send the
letters, here:

Mr. Clive Davis
J Records
745 Fifth Avenue
New York, NY 10151

(3) Request O-Town on YOUR OWN local radio stations.

(4) Buy O-Town merchandise!! If you don't have a lot of money, go
out and buy their TATD single -> it's only $2.99 + tax (comes out to
$3.59 I believe), and it includes a live performance of "American

We can't let Otown die! Please do anything to help them! THANKS :D

Just a reminder to ALL O-Town fans! ONLY 21 DAYS, WHICH IS THREE WEEKS FROM NOW until the re-release of O2! Let's do this for our guys, please!!!!!!!!! If this is the first notice you have received on this, let me know at, and I will send you the original e-mail that has a LOT of information. Thanks again for reading and I hope you take the time out on July 12th to support Trevor, Ashley, Dan, Jacob, and Erik-Michael. Thank you again, Sarah

It's been confirmed by Erin herself, that her and Dan are to be

that was on her left hand during the 6/11/03 - Freedom Hill
Amphitheater - Detroit, MI Meet N Greet. And she said it with her
own mouth :) The ring was also designed by Dan Miller himself ;)

Subject:No "ISH" video?
Posted by:kimdmarks.
Time:12:19 pm.
Mood: crappy.
Hey everyone!

Finally a bit of O-Town news but it's not good. Sorry to say this
everyone but reports are going round about the record label losing
intrest in the group :( - are they INSANE!!

"It seems that there won't be a video for O-Town's second single, 'I
Showed Her', off of their sophomore album 'O2'. The song was released
to radio on January 27th and it's already been two whole months
without any notice that a video has even been made. Char from the
Inside O-Town Message Board states: "As I stated earlier, according
to J Records, they have a new policy of not shooting a video unless
they see that a song is charting well, since MTV has changed its
policy on the videos that they will add to their play list. J Records
did have some plans, some discussion regarding video treatments for
ISH. However, the song did not perform well enough to justify J
Records going forward with a video for the song. To the best of my
understanding, this policy does not apply only to O-Town." I'm
guessing that since 'I Showed Her' unfortunately flopped, a video
won't be made." reports the guys from O-Town have been begging Clive
Davis and J Records to release a new single and video, but label
execs have lost interest reports Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter and O-Town's
planned concert at the Civic Center of Anderson, South Carolina, on
Friday (April 11) has been canceled by the show's promoter due
to "disappointing" ticket sales.
